Tealver walked along side the pen. Staring at the horses for sale. She seemed to favor them all but she needed a good steed. One that wasn't affraid to go forth headfirst into battle yet fast enough to run away if the danger is to great. She needed a horse to replace Fire Brand. She sighed as she searched deep into the pen. Wondering if any horse would suit her needs. She wouldn't be able to tell until she tested every horse out. All she needed was a job.

Cody trotted into view, skymasters reings hanging loosely down his neck. The horse was a perfect match for Cody, and he knew every command the boy gave to him. Heck, he didn't even need reigns.
Spotting the girl Cody squeezed the colts side gently and he slowed to a halt.
"Can I help you Milady?" He slid easily off the young horse's back.
He reached his shoulders back, hearing his spine click. He had been on that horses back all day, training him, and he deserved a rest.
Sky followed his master down to the trough, readilly drinking up the cool water. Cody leaned against against the fence, heaving from the days work. He eyed the girl, waiting for a reply.

"Oh... Sorry was I not supposed to be here?" She asked but didn't wait for a reply. "I was looking for a job actually. Mainly to get to know the horses and be around them." She said and gave him a warm smile. She looked over at Sky and noted his beauty and young age as well as his obedience. It was rare to find a horse like that and it actually reminded her again of Fire Brand. The horse that she had lost in an outrageous war between kingdoms in a distant land.

"Hmmm, a job you say...." He ran his fingers through his hair, thinking.
"You will have to talk to Smithy about that... I have no clue.... All I can do is fit you with a horse."
He patted Sky's masculine neck, glad that he had found such a wonderful horse, and companion.
"You are allowed to be here, may I ask were you abide?"
Cody was an inquisitive{sp} boy, and couldn't go a second without asking a question.

"Abide?" she asked. Not sure what the word ment. She wasn't exactly the smartest person since she lacked proper education. "Any how I would be glad to talk to Smithy and or be fitted with a horse." She said with a smile.

Cody raised his eyebrow as she questioned his words.
Not the brightest of people... He noted.
Yet his thoughts were rudely interupted as the snorting black mass reared into view.
He watched, not at all surprised as one of the wild stallions bambarded it's way into the pen, Smithy on it's back.
His arm curled its way around the animal's neck and he pulled up, making the horse stop as his head pointed into the air.
"Tutut." He mused. Some of them never learnt.

Tealver looked over at the stallion. She walked over to it and smoothed her hand down his coat. She had learned every thing she could about horses by taming them herself. She had helped her father train them when she was little. She noticed the stallion seemed to be favoring one of it's front legs so she reached down and picked it up. Gentle but stern. She noticed a rather large rock an began to work the rock out of it's hoove. //Is telepathy aloud? Cuz I have been learning it latly and it is working... I'm talking to my dog right now. :K//

His head wasn'y the only thing that hurt. His feet hurt too.
He needed a horse.
The first thing he did, and he made sure he did it before he did anything else, was head over to the Pen to find a horse.
The lanky man strolled in, hands stuffed in pockets. His hair today looked messy, as though he had run his hands through it too many times. Aldaberto De Luca stared at the horses, eyeing each one carefully and taking time to admire some.

Smithy smiled at the girl, she seemed to like horses.
He dismounted his fiery steed and led him into the pen, letting him roam for now.
With a few steps he was back with the new lady.
"Can I help you?"

Cody looked at the man that had just arrived, he patted Sky goodbye and wandered over to him.
"May I intrest you in a horse?"

Bic// Aldaberto didn't have the faintest idea that Cody was behind him, and jumped about three feet before calming. "Um, yeah..." He began. "I need a horse." No surprise there, folks. "You know, a good riding horse, but one that knows how to defend itself, not a chicken, in a manner of speaking."
A long time ago, when he had to work for a living, he owned a white French riding horse named Alfa. He had loved that horse like a brother. But due to low payments and almost nowhere to stay, wolves had killed off his faithful Alfa in the dead of night.

"Thy was wondering if thy could take a job here as though stable hand. That way thy can get to know the horses and earn a bit of extra money." She said and looked over at the horses. "I know woman aren't supposed to work except maids... All their duties are is to just grow plump and show a bit of extra for head but I can't stand the fashion these days." She said dropping the accent. She remembered being out in the wilderness and not having to abide by the laws. She liked being skinny and traveling. Hunting for her own food and working for her pay like a true person should. In fact that was what the king had given her a sword for. She was different and he liked that even though she showed a bit of disrespect towards him at times.

Thinking that the man would say yes anyway she hoped over the gate and walked along the herd, looking for that firey soul she wanted. ~A horse for battle, one that can run as fast as the wind and has a rather firey temper and a big body, come here.~ she called out to the horses telepathicaly. At first it didn't appear to be that the horses listened until they cleared the way for a Freisian crossed with a Shire. The horse tossed its head and she smiled, "I'll take you love, now lets get to the river." she said and placed a few gold on the fence post. She pulled herself ontop of him with the help of the post and took off. //switching boards out of anger//
